I worked with Emma over a number of years. She has proven to be knowledgeable about safety management systems, documentation and best practice and has been helpful in providing the benefit of her experience to help review and improve our safety systems at the airport. Her feedback on the importance of a systematic approach to safety and of developing a real ‘continual improvement’ culture in every task we do in the workplace was most welcome.

Optimize Your Business Goals and Objectives
When you apply risk-based thinking to your business, you develop a clear and unbiassed understanding of what makes your business tick.
Considering risk and the actions needed to combat or prepare helps understand where to spend time and resource.
Whether it’s the implications of a global climate crisis, or one of your team getting injured, having good processes in place will enable your business to develop the resilience and capability of your team, whatever may come your way.

I had the pleasure of working with Emma when we were both seconded at very short notice to support the Military Air Accident Investigation Branch to discover the cause of a RAF aircraft accident. The findings took nine months to publish because the cause was complex, necessitating planning, data collection, analysis, reasoning skills and keen attention to detail. Ever with an eye on the detail to get to the mechanical root cause, Emma always understood the bigger picture, the holistic risks involved in the platform and flight, and could tie in Human Factor analysis to deliver a the full strategic context. Emma has significant capacity for managing a wide variety of disparate work streams simultaneously and frequently proved herself to be adept at prioritisation, with abundant natural organisational ability. With a relaxed yet purposeful leadership style, Emma more than held her own to be objective and firm when dealing with significant stakeholders – civil and military, national and international – to expose facts to support a compelling argument to deliver a technical report in layman’s language that withstood public scrutiny. In short, driven, hard working, well liked and a natural leader.
