After 20 years working in Aviation Engineering, in a range of roles, culminating in Quality and Safety Manager for a leading Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul organisation, it was time to change tack, and transfer the passion I have for good quality and safety to support other businesses. Kerb Appeal NZ was the outcome of that change and we look forward to supporting you…
Affter studying Aerospace Engineering and management, I joined the Royal Navy as an Air Engineer Officer. Over 17 years, I wrote safety cases and risk registers, managed quality systems, including training as a quality auditor and managed safety systems and oversight of complex safety environments.
I left the RN to emigrate to NZ, and went to work firstly as Bid Support Manager and then Quality and Safety Manager for an established aviation maintenance, repair and overhaul company.
I am a certified lead auditor for ISO 450001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems, have revised and updated quality and safety management systems in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and a range of aviation and Worksafe regulatory requirements.
I am a Chartered Engineer and a member of the NZ Safety Council and the NZ Organization for Quality and an Associate Member of the Risk Management Society
